Q: What is ICC?
A: ICC is a young informal organization of Indonesian Catholic families and individuals in the greater Dallas - Fort Worth region.

 

Q: When was ICC founded?
A: ICC was founded on July 7th, 2001.

 

Q: Who can become a member of ICC? Do I have to be a Catholic to become a member of ICC?
A: Anybody can become a member of ICC. We based our activities on Catholic faith, but our membership is open to anybody from any Christian denominations or religious backgrounds since the word "Catholic" itself means "universal". 

 

Q: Does ICC belong to a particular parish?
A: ICC formally does not belong to any parish yet, nor the Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church. But, HFN suppot ICC by letting us use the facilities in their parish. 

 

Q: What are ICC's activities?
A: ICC has a scheduled monthly meeting on the first Saturday of each month. During this monthly meeting, which usually takes place at the Holy Family of Nazareth church, the group conducts one of the following activities: prayer meeting, rosary prayer, meditation, or discussion on Catholic-related topics. In addition to the scheduled monthly meeting, ICC also hosts numerous social activities, such as Christmas party, summer picnic, retreat, and sport exhibition games. 

 

Q: Does ICC have an Indonesian Mass?
A: Yes. Once every three months ICC invites an Indonesian Catholic Priest to present a mass in Indonesian language. The mass is usually followed by a pot- luck gathering as a way for our members to socialize and to get to know each other.
